OUR MAIN MISSION

The Repurpose Project

The Repurpose Project is a non-profit initiative dedicated to raising awareness and funds for invasive species prevention. We turn plant remains from invasive species removal into unique products like infused candles, though we hope to expand our market soon. Our goal is to promote biodiversity and sustainable practices, with proceeds supporting larger conservation organizations. Join us in making a positive impact!

01

COLLECTION OF PLANTS

  • We collaborate with organizations like the ISCBC that conduct invasive species removal efforts.

  • We collect the plant remains typically discarded during these initiatives.

  • Alternatively, we collect invasive plant materials when going on nature walks ourselves.

02

REPURPOSING PLANT MATERIAL

  • We repurpose these plant remains into eco-friendly handmade products such as infused oils, candles, and ornaments.

  • We ensure that no seeds are spread in the process, maintaining environmental safety.

03

RAISING AWARENESS AND FUNDS

  • Our goal is to use these repurposed products to spread awareness about the importance of invasive species prevention.

  • We sell these items to raise funds, which are then donated to larger organizations like the ISCBC.

  • The funds raised from our project support the work of organizations dedicated to invasive species prevention and biodiversity conservation.
